Our Venue
A Welcoming Space for Connection, Creativity and Confidence
Our venue at Women’s Community Boutique CIC is a welcoming and inclusive space designed to support the diverse needs of women in our community. Located in Sunderland, our boutique is a vibrant and safe haven where women from all backgrounds can come together to participate in various activities, workshops and social events.
The boutique features a cosy, well-lit interior with comfortable seating and thoughtful decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s equipped to host everything from dance sessions and Dress Up Socials to photoshoots and art workshops. The space also provides a private, empowering setting for bridal wear consultations, where women can browse our collection of donated, upcycled and ethically sourced wedding dresses, available for hire, purchase or bespoke restyling.
Our venue also houses our Shared Wardrobe, food pantry and hygiene and underwear support hub. These essentials are freely available to any woman who needs them, offered with care and dignity. The Shared Wardrobe promotes sustainable fashion by extending the life of quality clothing, while also helping women express themselves without financial pressure. Whether accessing food, toiletries or clothes, women are supported in a way that feels respectful, uplifting and completely without judgement.
More than just a physical space, the boutique is a community hub where women can connect, share experiences, and feel supported. Whether attending a workshop, borrowing an outfit, collecting essentials or simply enjoying a conversation over tea, the space nurtures confidence, wellbeing, and a deep sense of belonging.
